This week absolutely flew by for me. It scares me just a bit that it’s already almost MAY and I just feel like 2013 started. Is this what it feels like to get old? Time gets faster and faster? Yikes. I’d hate to feel what it’s like when I’m 60.
The week was pretty uneventful, but I did enjoy the nice spring weather!
-I bought six pairs of shoes a couple weeks ago, and have not been disappointed. They’ve been (by far) the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. All of them.
-Last weekend Instagram had a photo challenge that encouraged pet portraits. Jazz reluctantly participated. Speaking of Instagram, check mine out here.
-I’m still on my smoothie kick…trying to drink one green smoothie a day for a meal substitute. I just got chia seeds in the mail, and I’m super excited to add them to my daily ritual (ps, I know NOTHING about chia, so any info on how to eat/drink them would be helpful!).
-IM FINALLY LEARNING KOREAN! I’m super stoked about this. Friends of ours recently gave us Rosetta Stone, and I’ve been freaking out about it. I’ve already done a whole chapter, and I’m hooked. Somebody wrote me on twitter and told me that it teaches more formal, ‘old school’ Korean…and I’m hoping that’s not completely true. Even if it is, ‘old school’ Korean is better than no Korean…eh?
-I recently toned my hair. It was turning a little yellow, so I had my sister send some Color Charm toner all the way over to Korea! I’m so thankful for it. :) Once again I’m a warm but cool blond.
-I’m also on a grapefruit kick. Derik lets me splurge on one item when we go to Costco (and vice versa of course). Usually I go for avocados, but since my local grocery store started selling them, I picked out grapefruit! I love to eat them in the mornings paired with a homemade french-press latte.
This weekend is supposed to be beautiful, so I’ll be out and about enjoying the sunshine! Happy Weekend!
What have you been up to lately?
